      Background: Client is new to Norman. Works in the oil fields attends flight school in Norman. He met a bartender at 747 on a Friday night. Girl was sending client text messages, and client thought she was interested in him. Client went back to 747 the next night. Again thinks that he and bartender are on the same page after some two way flirtation. After bar closes, client walks to store and buys 2 wine coolers. Bouncers approach him and tell him if he is waiting on the bartender then he needs to scram. Bouncer told client she wasn't interested. He leaves on foot, stops and eats. 20 minutes later he was approached by cops. They say man fitting description was reported to be behind 747 with pants around his ankles. They hold him and witnesses identify his as suspect. Client was charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication.

      Disposition: Counts 1 and 2 dismissed with court costs to defendant

State believes they were stealing from the store on 3 occasions. OKC Police eventually came to the store and attempted to ask them questions about larceny. They refused to speak to them.

Keys were in ignition but ignition not on. Field sobriety tests were performed and client and co-defendant were charged with APC, MIP, and Outraging.

The bar tender came back and was very upset at client doing this. Bar tender call police. Police showed up and arrested client for Public Intoxication

Cop ran DL and wrote warning. Told her to wait while another cop arrived. He then took his dog out and hit on exterior then interior. She said 30 minutes passed between stop and drug dog. She gave post Miranda statement claimed purse and white powdery substance (meth) as hers. Charged with Possession of CDS (meth) and possession of Paraphernalia.

      Disposition: Ct: 1 – Case to be dismissed after completion of 3 years of probation (2014)

      Charge: Burglary in the Second Degree – Felony

      Background: Client is foreign and here on an F1 Visa as Freshman at OU. During winter break she stayed at school. Stayed in a friend's room rather than her own. He was gone back to his home country. Her room was located in the same dorm, but different floor. She didn't like her roommates so she stayed at friend's dorm. She left friends for a couple of days and went to Houston. When she came back, friend's room was a wreck. She reported to a person she believed to be an RA. RA let her in friend's next door neighbors room. Neighbor came home and was shocked to find client there. He claimed food and other items missing and called the real RA who called OUPD. She was questioned, told above story and was arrested for Burglary in the Second degree.

      Result: Charge amended to Misdemeanor Breaking and Entering and dismissed after completion of 3 months of probation.

      Background: Client is 15. He is accused of some form of touching the vaginal area of a 5 year old female. Client was babysitting the child at the time. Child's parents are friends with client's parents. Child reported discomfort in vaginal area and injury observed by parent during bath on Sunday, Incident occurred on 01.28.11 mother took child to hospital. Forensic interview at Mary Abbott House. Client's mother contacted by Detective at Norman PD by phone. They agreed to talk to him. Client did not admit to anybody before interview with detective. Denied during interview, which dad recorded, until end when threatened with polygraph. Detective left message saying ADA intends to file as adult.

      Result: Case dismissed due to compliance of rules and conditions of probation.

Client was arrested in his home after having a fight with his GF. When cops came he was home alone and did not answer the door. Cops say they heard a voice inside. They went inside and heard scanner. Found client in back room, who said he didn't hear them. Client said he was just holding her off of him. Client's cousin or friend was present for fight between client and GF.

      Disposition: Ct. 1 and 3 – Dismissed at Disposition Docket, Ct. 2: Client received a 1 year suspended sentence.

      Background: Client wanted abusive husband out of her car. She, husband, and children were on their way home. They live in the county and, he got out to get the gate to their property and she tried to drive off. He leaps on to car. Client's kids are in the car as her husband claims she tried to run him over. Husband filed charges against her. The next week, client goes to pick up children at his house, and he raped her in front of her children she went to the hospital and did rape kit. After kit she was arrested for her outstanding warrant.

      Result: Case dismissed with costs to State.

Client has witnesses who can testify no aggression by client. Other player came back to the gym and client called cops - both parties cited in Norman Municipal Court with Assault and Battery -

      Three felony counts of: Soliciting Sexual Conduct or Communication with a Minor by use of Technology

      Background: Client was charged in 2010 in Love County, Marietta OK. Client didn't know that charges had been filed, but had allegedly been texting with a minor in the years prior. He moved to NC and recently got married. He was arrested from work on a Thursday which is how we learned of charges. Client was held in NC on a 200K bond. He had already been appointed a court appointed attorney in NC. Client was extradited to Oklahoma and released on a 45K bond.

      Disposition: Client was placed on a 10 year Suspended Sentence. All Counts to run CC – No Jail Time

      Background: Client was arrested after her vehicle was observed near the site where her husband and son were arrested. Husband and son were arrested driving a truck believed to be stolen which was pulling a trailer, also believed to be stolen and a bulldozer. Client was pulled over and arrested later the same night.

      Result: 10 year suspended sentence.

      Background: Client received a trespassing ticket out of Norman Municipal Court for staying past the 11:00am check out time at a Norman Hotel. Client said he had paid for the room and left when he was ready to leave. Client said once he did leave, he went to Prairie Kitchen and he was arrested for trespassing. Hotel states that client refused to leave the hotel. Client claimed that his truck was broken in to in the motel parking lot and was demanding video of the parking lot. The hotel said they did not have video of the lot and client became upset and then left. Hotel saw him go to Prairie Kitchen and called police and told them where client was and that they wanted client arrested. Cops arrested client from Prairie Kitchen and cited him with trespassing.

      Result: Case was dismissed upon completion of 6 months of probation

      Background: Client is accused of embezzling $30,000 from a company she volunteered at. She was treasurer of the company. Client was caught when a new President was elected to the company and the new president realized there was missing money. Embezzlement was reported to the police. Felony charges were filed against client. Client has a prior Embezzlement charge out of McClain County.

      Disposition: Upon payment of Restitution in the amount of $30,175.00 Client received a 5 year Suspended sentence. Client did not receive any jail time.

      Background: Client was 19 years old when State alleged he had consensual sex with a 13 year old girl. The girl was a friend of the family. She disclosed to a family member after they asked her about a hicky on her neck. Client initially denied the allegations in written a statement, however cops say he verbally confirmed sex with the girl. Client ultimately charged with Rape in the First Degree.

      Result: Charge amended to Second Degree Rape. Client was placed on a 5 year suspended sentence.
