Heather is a native Oklahoman. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Letters. Upon completion of her undergraduate work, she continued her education at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

While studying law at the University of Oklahoma, she earned the Am-Jur Award for Torts II in 2009 and was a member of the American Indian Law Review. She received her Juris Doctorate, with Distinction, from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2011 and the Western District of Oklahoma in 2014.

Heather is a member of the Oklahoma Association for Justice, the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Cleveland County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association. Her primary practice areas include family law, criminal defense, personal injury, nursing home neglect, and medical and pharmaceutical malpractice.
